The 5-star Riboville boutique hotel presents a unique venue for a memorable end-of-year function – be it for a small group of 10, or a lavish do for over 100 people. The luxurious countryside location, at the heart of Johannesburg’s northern suburbs, is within close proximity to the city centre and the Mall of Africa, yet miles away from the demands of daily city life. It is the perfect spot for taking a step back to celebrate the years gone by.

Located within the elite Waterfall Equestrian Estate, the hotel and business facility enjoys all the conveniences of urban living, as well as the open spaces and natural beauty of the estate grounds. The hotel was designed to be a lavish, double-volume barn, decorated with equestrian paraphernalia and beautiful horse-themed artworks. It overlooks a lush polo field, a long expanse of green lawn, as well as a sizeable dam and water features, which attract local bird life all year-round.

Flexible options

Smaller groups can choose to celebrate year-end in Riboville’s new Mongolian conference room (max 8 guests), the Wine Cellar (max 10 guests), Library (max 12 guests), the Feedroom Restaurant (max 40 guests) or the restaurant patio (max 30 guests). The latter two can also be combined for larger functions of up to 120 people, with the Bar Lounge holding up to 140 guests. Riboville’s Executive Chef will spoil delegates with his innovative culinary creations. He would be delighted to discuss any special menu requirements, with Halaal and Kosher meals also being available at an additional cost.

Expansive opulence

For delegates requiring overnight accommodation, 15 spacious Suites have been individually designed in the colours and characteristics of the specific horse breeds that they are named after. Accommodating a total of 30 guests, the Suites feature all modern conveniences, including large en-suite bathrooms, opulent king-size beds, and seating areas with beautiful balconies sporting views of either the estate dam or polo field. Guests may also relax at the newly relocated Waterfall Spa, which comprises one single and two dual treatment rooms, as well as a balcony with scenic views.

Event planners already looking ahead to 2018 are invited to contact the team at Riboville to book conferences for the new year. The hotel is the ideal location for ‘out of town’ seminars, corporate breakaways or board-level meetings. A choice of three Executive Boardrooms are available, each equipped to the highest standards to ensure the smooth running of events – be it a small brainstorming session or large conference for groups of up to 55 delegates.

Half-day and full-day conference options are available, and include catering, WiFi, conference call facilities, connection to an LCD screen, as well as a private lounge and waiter/butler service.

The all year-round ‘24 Hour Conference Package’ includes venue hire, tea and coffee, a buffet lunch, two-course set menu dinner, accommodation in a Luxury Suite, and breakfast the following morning (R3 100 per person).
